Description

From the hotel you walk to the first alp e and there at right angles past the fountain over the bridge and under the road to the path towards Tschirggen.

Hike uphill on the Güterweg to the 3 Städel.

Then it's on to the Hirschgehrenbach and steeply uphill directly at the Eisengatter.

Before you turn right into the Tobel towards Mindelheimer Hütte, you will see the path to Schärtle on the upper left.

After the spring, the path leads over a large blueberry field and then goes up to the right over the hilltop and then over the stone wall through the railing channel almost to the end.

At the end of the railing channel, turn right up past the mountain pines and always along the slope to Schärtle.

From there you have a beautiful view into the centre of Mittelberg in the Kleinwalsertal.

Now turn left up the visible path past the Gemstelpass to the Widdersteinhütte.

The descent to Hotel Adler is quite easy and good to see.
