Description

Red’s Lake Run is a groomed cat track/ trail that extends directly off the backside off the summit, skier’s right of the gondola exit.

It cuts through a large alpine meadow that can often contain variable conditions between storms but turns into a powder field on storm days.

At this elevation, you’re above the treeline and the temptation to wander is compelling.

Avoid skier’s left off Red’s Lake Run as it will take you out of bounds.

Red’s Lake Run eventually joins up with Santiago Bowl and many lines and stashes can be found in fluffy conditions.
