Description

Finger Chute #3 is narrow, steep and rocky.

It also starts close to the Northway chair line.

Start at the top of tower 14, veering left toward the other Finger Chutes.

This narrow slot through the trees is steepest at the top and opens into a wide apron below.

Watch for rocks.

Once through the upper section, the apron below offers great turns.

Hit Northway trail to the bottom for another lap on Northway Chair.

Note that once through any Northway Gate cliffs and other hazards are not marked.

This is avalanche prone terrain.

Carry the proper equipment and ski and ride with a partner.
