Description

Caravan Serai is a great run for skiers of all types.

It has wide open slopes, trees, small chutes, and rock drops.

It funnels you down into the crux of the Ravine.

You can see this area from the chair, finding your line easily.

It gets plenty of sun and sees a fair bit of traffic.

It usually doesn't get bumped out, and rarely sluffs off.

Hike North past Slushman's Ravine, dropping in anywhere from the spaced trees, to the small rock buttress as you go around the corner to Ft.

Benton.

The skier's left side of Caravan has the most options for getting extreme.

After about 400ft, especially on the skier's left side, you will want to start looking for traverses out to the North.

These will take you across the bottom of Fin Town into lower Close Call.

If you continue fall line on the skier's left, you will get into Trap Door which has a couple tighter exits.

If skiing the skier's right, you can simply continue into the crux of the Ravine, or take the standard traverse North to lower Close Call.
