Description

In the old days, that’s before the Kachina Peak Chair, the spot where you took your skis off for the final slog up the dome of Kachina Peak was a few steps away from Lift Shack Chute.

Most people hiked past it, figuring if they had come that far, they might as well go a little further and get something better and longer.

Others, realizing they were running out of time, might have taken Lift Shack or one of its shorter neighbours.

These days, there’s little incentive to go out that far.

Looking at it from the other side, this could be exactly the reason to go.

Lift Shack comes out at the top of Lift 4.
