Description

Squaw rates this as a double blue square.

Turn left off of the top of Granite Chief and head down the ridge past High Voltage.

Before the lowest point of the ridge look to the left for ski tracks or a trail heading to the Granite Alley and Main Backside runs.

At the top of this area bear left for Granite Alley and fall line to the right for Main Backside.

There can be rocks near the top during low snow conditions.

This run is busier than the adjacent Granite Alley run.

It goes all the way fall line to the base of Granite Chief Chair.

Towards the bottom is signage and a road to get back to Shirley Lake Express.

This is an east facing run that is a great groomer or powder run and has some big bumps when not groomed.

After passing the turnoff for Shirley Lake it gets narrower and can be rocky in the choke.

Keep your momentum at the very bottom so that you don't have to push across the flats.
