Description

Off the top of Emigrant chair turn left and follow the ridge line south.

At the low point turn left at a historic stone marker that shows where an old emigrant road crossed the Sierra Nevada.

Follow a road that bears left back towards the Emigrant face.

This is the easiest way off of Emigrant chair.

It can be windy up here on the crest of the Sierra Nevada and in low visibility, it can be hard to find your way.
