Description

North Bowl is another classic run at Squaw.

From the top of Headwall, make the 180 degree left turn and head down the ridge, follow the chair line towards the Headwall Face, but turn left under the chair as soon as possible and stop before you get to the edge.

Not a good run in flat light as there are no trees for definition.

The entry can be intimidating for some.

It is steeper at the top to the right.

You can traverse left for an easier entry.

In low snow conditions, there are vertical rock ridges at the top that form short, mini chutes to be negotiated.

The snow is usually very good here because of the steep northern exposure.

End at Newport run.
