Description

Retta’s Run is a steep, bump run that runs directly under the Eskimo Lift with nice trees to dive into on the left.

Considered one of the best bump runs on Winter Park Mountain because of its pitch, this trail was named after Retta Stanley, a volunteer from the early years of the resort’s Handicap Program, which evolved into the world-famous National Sports Center for the Disabled.

Retta lost a leg to cancer, and became one of the first women three-track national champions.

She lost her eight-year battle with cancer in 1977.
