Description

Aplande acts as a stepping stones for advanced intermediates hoping to step onto advanced terrain from the Super Condor Lift, occasionally groomed but generally can be found with a few bumps, but nothing too heavy.

The run drops off to the left of Upper Apex and seems quite steep from the top, however as the run progresses intermediates can really build confidence on this run, allowing snowboarders and skiers alike to apply and improve their confidence and skills on steeper terrain.

This run can be fairly icy, but one can often find this run groomed with those conditions, intermediate powder hounds can also find their fix when the white gold falls, as this runs tends to hold powder pockets well into the afternoon and is generally less tracked than other double blues in Canyons, such as Sidewinder.
