Description

Estelle Bowl requires a hike, but it's worth it when the snow conditions are good.

Follow Wolverine Saddle past Beaver Bowl and the next large Bowl past it is Estelle Bowl.

Make sure you make the right turn into Estelle as everything to the left (west) is out of bounds and a long walk back.

The bowls along the mountain top have always been part of Alpine Meadows terrain, and they now call them the Pacific Crest Bowls.

Watch out for avalanches and avalanche debris in this entire area.

Estelle Bowl is a little easier on skier's left.

There are some rocks and trees on skier's right and middle sections in the upper bowl area.

Estelle Bowl is smaller than Beaver Bowl and has a small natural lake.

As you pass the lake and the flatter area below it, you will see Kangaroo chair below you.

It's pretty wide open here so you can see the base area and pick your descent.
