Description

Upper Lonesome Whistle is a long, groomed, green trail that serves as a traverse from Mary Jane Mountain to Winter Park Mountain (or as locals would say it, from The Janeside to The Parkside).

It begins partway down Whistlestop on the left and takes skiers and riders to the area between Winter Park and Vasquez Ridge Territories (Olympia, Looking Glass and Prospector Lift-serviced areas).

The trails under High Lonesome Lift (nicknamed "Hi-Lo") have fresher snow than the rest of the greens on the mountain because of its higher elevation.
