Description

Short Haul is an expert bump run near the bottom of Mary Jane Mountain that is accessed off of Challenger Lift (C-Lift) off Derailer trail.

It diverges from Long Haul, wraps around a wooded area, and rejoins Long Haul before spilling out onto Corona Way, a blue groomer that leads to the base.

Because of sun exposure and lower altitude than other trails at the resort, this run could be hard as concrete in the morning and get slushier later in day during the spring.

(Pssst … Short Haul is longer than Long Haul.) Short Haul/Long Haul railroad prices in the late 1800s were questionable at best, and led to monopolies in the short haul business.
