Description

As you near the top of the Roundhouse Chair, look to your left.

You will see a small bowl with many small trees in and along its sides.

This is the Sympathy Face.

It is short and steep and very popular, especially on powder mornings.

Access the trail from the top of the Roundhouse Lift.

Exit the lift and make a U Turn.

Ski under the lift a few hundred feet and you will reach the top of the bowl.

When there is a good snow pack you can ski off the lip of the bowl, otherwise skiers go right or left skiing on the ridge or into the bowl.

You will end up on Charity or Boomerang which you follow back to the base area.

This area generally faces East.
