Description

Scott Chute is directly under Scott Chair.

It is a long, steep, rocky chute with cliffs and trees.

It is wide in places and has two main ways in.

From where Scott Ridge Run turns left to head down, veer right and head underneath the Scott chair to find the 1st entrance.

Or head down Scott Ridge Run a short distance and turn right and enter between some trees, skiers left of a cliff band.

This 2nd entrance can have a cornice on top.

This is a tough run with lots of rocks, cliffs and trees to navigate around.

It faces west and ends at the base of Scott Chair.

It is highly visible from the chair.

There can be some big bumps in here if it hasn't snowed in a while.
