Description

Bear Paw is one of the most beautifully gladed runs on Aspen Mountain.

It sits just off the top of the F.I.S.

chairlift in an area commonly known as "The Dumps." A local's favourite first run on days where there's been some new snow, this 600 vertical feet run is steep and cut with a series of hazardous cat tracks that unfortunately prevent the run from ever realizing its true potential.

Enjoy perfect early morning light, beautiful snow and soft moguls in Bear Paw from top to bottom.

Just don't forget about the unfriendly, and very abrupt, cat tracks while you're making your blissful descent.

Cut a hard right before the bottom to load the F.I.S.

chair again so you can head back up for another run and don't have to descend all the way back to the gondola.
