Description

Park 4.3 miles up the Big Cottonwood canyon road.

Find the Broad Fork trailhead that starts right out of the SW corner of the parking lot.

This trail winds through the woods, over a bridge, and then opens up as you gain the upper canyon.

Continue through the heart of the valley in the aspen trees.

You'll pop out into the upper alpine at the base of Bonkers run, near the beaver ponds.

Advance up the center of the drainage aiming for Dromedary Peak.

You'll gain more elevation and then in the very upper basin you'll cross underneath Twin Peaks E Face that is off to your right.

Continue past this face and aim for the saddle to the S.

You'll gain the ridge here and carry on up through some fun rock scrambling until you finally reach the summit.

From here you have incredible options to ski and great views.
