Description

If you want a rewarding 2-week hike in the Dolomites that requires no previous climbing experience and has many amenities along the way, then this one's for you! Starting in the provincial capital of Bolzano, the route traverses the Dolomites from West to East, finishing in the small village of Santo Stefano.

Along the 12-14 day hike, you will likely see many other keen hikers, as the Via Alta 9 is one of the more popular long-distance trails in the Dolomites.

It's also one of the more accessible, with short distances between huts and hardly any climbing skills required.
