Description

The North Gully of Sacajawea Peak is a great long line when its in condition.

It gets blown out frequently by the wind, and when this happens the upper couple hundred feet is just rock.

When you can get it good, it's a real treat.

It's about 1000 feet long, and about 35 degrees.

It's very wide but be sure to stay on the skier's left - that is where the snow accumulates and the base will be deeper.

This line passes some beautiful rock pinnacles about half way down, and this is a great spot for a photo.

From the Sacajawea trailhead, head up into the bowl.

As you get to the back of the bowl, head left and up the gully.

Boot or skin to the top.
