Description

Mulligan’s Mile is a steep, black mogul run with a good fall line that is occasionally groomed.

You can warm up your ski legs on Upper Hughes, then take a left and dive into the moguls of Mulligan Mile and come out at the top of Lower Hughes.

Dick Mulligan was Winter Park’s caretaker in 1945.

This outgoing Irishman lived at the base in an old bunkhouse.

For a decade, he ran the Practice Hill T-bar, helping newbies fall in love with the sport.

He was well known for stretching his stories (Mulligan’s Mile is only a half-mile long), it is a tribute to his tendency to exaggerate.
