Description

Lower Hughes is a blue/black groomer with a steep, sometimes slanted pitch.

The top of Lower Hughes is accessible from the top of Arrow Lift, or from Balch or Mulligan’s Mile, and is often utilized for racing competitions.

Upper Hughes crosses under the chairlift and traverses a short distance north to Lower Hughes ...

these two parts of the trail aren't really connected - the top of Lower Hughes is higher than the bottom of Upper Hughes.

This traverse can have icy patches, but nothing like the East Coast.

Because it is close to the base, this is one of the first runs to become slushy on a spring day.
