Description

This trail connects the urban nucleus of Algodonales with Los Nacimientos Recreational Area, crossing the Sierra de Líjar, and becoming a magnificent viewpoint of the Sierra de Cádiz. The route begins with a climb up the Senda de la Fuentecilla, and at about 3 km the path takes a forest track between holm oaks, strawberry trees and junipers.

In the final section, the path winds through the spectacular Canalizo gorge, where the coolness and humidity of the shade refresh the descent. The proximity of large rocks makes this a very favorable place so that with a bit of luck, you can see the flight of great raptors, and even on the whitish rock to the elusive mountain goat
