Description

Start and finish of this route: Freizeit Arena.

Follow the federal road towards the upper valley, turn right at the BP gas station after approx.

1 km.

The climbing road takes you through the hamlets of Außerwald and Innerwald to the Glacier Road.

Continue on the Glacier Road for about 700 meters, following the Route Gaislach (644) ( http://bikerepublic.soelden.com/natural-single-trails#ipd=7728055&wt=S%C3%B6lden%20(Commune) ) for mountain bikers.

Through the shady forest and further on to the lush pasturelands of Gaislachalm.

Clinging cow bells will accompany you here.

Past the mountain inns (refreshment stop!) of Sonneck, Silbertal and Gaislachlam you pedal to the tour's highest point: middle station of Gaislachkogl Gondola at 2170 m above sea level. Then you return to Sölden again: start your downhill adventure at the stone arch some 150 m behind Gaislachkogl Gondola.

Follow Eebme Line (6005) ( http://bikerepublic.soelden.com/natural-single-trails#ipd=22696220&wt=S%C3%B6lden%20(Commune) ) until you reach a gravel path that takes you to the access point of the Ohn Line (6007) ( http://bikerepublic.soelden.com/natural-single-trails#ipd=22696229&wt=S%C3%B6lden%20(Commune) ).

The superbly flowing Ohn Line leads into the Broate Line (6027) which takes you back to the base station of Gaislachkogl Gondola.

Continue on the western river shore behind the gondola (far away from the main road) and return to Freizeit Arena. Appropriate Equipment Rules! We strongly recommend to wear protective bike gear (knee and elbow pads, helmet, back protector, ...) on all lines, trails, enduro tracks and mountain bike routes within the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN.
