Description

This magnificent route travels northwards on the Ötztal Cycle Path (11) ( https://www.soelden.com/map/tour/333?lg=en&season=SO&path=rad#area=1027337&cat=Mountainbike%20Routes&ipd=7729726&wt=Oetztal%20(Tourism%20area)&zc=9,10.9465,47.01659 ) and along the Kaiserwald Route (603) ( https://www.soelden.com/bike-cycling-routes-list-view#dmdtab=oax-tab4&ipd=19506398&wt=S%C3%B6lden%20(Commune)&zc=10,10.94719,46.8923 ) mountain bike trail.

At the edge of Sölden, in the hamlet of Kaisers, you turn right towards Höfle.

The 129 meters of altitude gain must be conquered almost on this first stretch, starting on the asphalt road up to Höfle and leading into the forest trail on a gravel path.

You continue on the red Kaiser Trail (698) ( https://www.soelden.com/bike-cycling-routes-list-view#cat=Mountainbike&ipd=19506360&wt=S%C3%B6lden%20(Commune)&zc=10,10.94719,46.8923 ) starting at the end of the gravel route.

Short sections with many tree roots and some precipitous spots add to a challenging tour.

In wet weather this trail needs a lot more time to dry again.

After about 500 meters the trail joins the Ötztal Cycle Path which takes you to the junction towards Brand.

In Aschbach you cross the main road and continue on the Ötztal Cycle Path in the opposite direction.

Soon you'll reach Sölden and Freizeit Arena again. Appropriate Equipment Rules! We strongly recommend to wear protective bike gear (knee and elbow pads, helmet, back protector, ...) on all lines, trails, enduro tracks and mountain bike routes within the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN.
