Description

Head up the Standish Express and take in Lookout Mt (8954 ft) on your left and Twin Carin (8354 ft) on your right.

The weather at the top of Mt Standish can be very windy, so dress appropriately! Unload off the chair and past the monument marking the Alberta/BC boarder and head straight towards the Black Diamond and Avalanche signs.

You will see an opening in the gate.

This is Avalanche terrain.

Best to have a partner and the gear.

Take a look below you and choose your line.

This area will bring you below the Headwall cliffs where you can get some fresh pow in, but beware the sharks.

Continue to surf the Headwall and funnel out in the Dell Valley which will bring you back to the Standish Express and the upper village.
