Description

S1 is another Aspen classic.

With a broad range of places to drop in from the black diamond International, skiers can choose between tight and demanding gladed Aspens, or opt for slightly wider avenues.

After your first few turns, make sure you get a good look at the mammoth S1 cliffs.

For the more daring, ski on snow lines are accessible on skier's right, or there are airs on skier's left and down the centre for the truly courageous.

In general, it is best to stay just to the skier's left of the cliffs, hugging the rock walls and enjoying the sporty and sometimes Billy goat trees.

Just a bit further on the left, enjoy a slightly easier gladed terrain.

At the bottom of the cliff the wide open run out descends out into Spar Gulch.

Enjoy powder turns here, or find lines of your own in the trees on the right and left sides of this trail.
