Description

This west facing aspect catches some of the last sun of the day.

This wide black diamond takes you down the first portion of the Face of Bell Mountain area on Aspen Mountain.

The moderate pitch is perfect for skiers looking to push themselves in more off-piste terrain while not having to worry about trees or differing fall lines.

Sunrise is a 490 vertical foot run that begins by meandering through small moguls until its final pitch; a convex roll over that has a great steep fall line shot down to the Ajax Express Lift loading area.

This run typically has moguls and is a local's favourite first run of the day when there's new snow.

There are no trees to avoid here, making it nice for advanced skiers and intermediates looking to step up their skills.

However, the final pitch is steep!
