Description

There are not many ski-tours around the world that combine snow, mountains and the sea.

Inevitably, this mix of scenery, means for a stunning experience. A popular and busy walk in the summer, this hike up to ‘Old Man’ (a large pinnacle of rock) lies on part of the Trotternish ridge.

The Storr was created by a massive ancient landside, leaving one of the most photographed landscapes in the world. Located on the north of Skye in the area known as ‘Trotternish’, the start of the tour is by the main road from Portree to Staffin. On the route up, you'll find yourself weaving in and out of rock formations and following the gully and traverses onto the upper slope.

From the top of the route you'll be treated to 360 panoramas of the island and Scottish highlands.
