Description

Porcupine starts out as a nice road, then opens up into a wide meadow before dog legging and narrowing to the left at the confluence with Rugrat.

It is a really great way for intermediate blue skiers to get comfortable with narrow areas, obstacles and varying snow conditions.

There are numerous ways to dip off the groomer and ski good wide spaces tree meadows to the skier's left and a great natural half pipe gulley just before the dog leg.

The middle section is prone to being sun affected, but the first and last sections often will stay cooler due to shade from the trees.
