Description

You can park right where the starting point for this route is. You start with the ascent.

The higher you go, the more beautiful the views are: you pass Martin Point, you will look out from above Kirkwood Lake, and then you will walk past Glove Rock.

You will finish the ascent at Thunder Mountain, where you will have magical 360-degree views of Yosemite.

Once you reach the north face of Thunder Mountain, you can either go back using the same path, or you can continue with an adjacent trail.
