Description

If you come from the Thunder Mountain, you can use the Horseshoe Canyon Trail to reach the Silver Lake.

If you start on the other side, you will start not far from the Oyster Creek Rest Stop, next to highway 88, half a mile from the Silver Lake. There are quite some rocks on the way, which makes the hike quite difficult at some point.

The route is perfect for taking pictures: landscapes are just amazing.

From pine forests and pinnacles to breathtaking views on the region, this hike gives you a wide variety of scenery.
