The exposure grade describes the potential consequences of falling or slipping off the path.
Low Exposure: The path is on completely flat land and potential injury is limited to falling over.
Medium Exposure: The trail contains some obstacles such as outcroppings and rock which could cause injury.
High Exposure: Some trail sections have exposed ledges or steep ascents/descents where falling could cause serious injury.
Extreme Exposure: Some trail sections are extremely exposed where falling will almost certainly result in serious injury or death.
You start at the parking lot where there is plenty of space to park (at least in the morning).
Then the magic can start: wildflowers everywhere, jumping fished in the creek and lake.
When you arrive at the lake, during the summer months the water is warm enough to swim.
They are also some fishermen. The hike is beautiful but not that easy.
Some parts of the road are watery, you even have puddles: bring good shoes with good grip, it could be slippery.
Kids love it too.
Just beware that most dogs have no leash.
