"## Descent and crossing From the Prarion plateau at 1853 m reach the hamlet of Tresse near Les Contamines.

Go down a track on the hamlet of Crosaz via la Charme and the Vosaz pass.

Then cross the torrent of Bionnassay at the pont des Places and continue on a rather downhill track to the villages: Le Champel, la Villette, la Gruvaz.

After a last small climb (road) to the entrance of the gorges of La Gruvaz (parking) find on the right a forest path leading to Tresse (1016 m). ## Upward From Tresse cross the road Saint Gervais > les Contamines and find at the level of Quy the indicated track leading to Saint Nicolas de Véroce, this one starts with a steep climb before joining a tarred road with little traffic to Saint Nicolas.

From the centre of the village (1115 m) go up by a path (or road) to the plan of the Cross at 1448 m.

Continue along a track towards the Cross of Christ at 1942 m via Le Déchappieu and Les Lanches.

After a short descent to the Col du Christ to reach Mont Joux at 1958 m.

Continue along the wide ridge towards Mont d'Arbois. ## Descent Shortly after Mont d'Arbois, at point 1803 m, take a succession of tracks and paths leading to Le Bettex at 1480 m, a track reserved for mountain bikes and not indicated on the map, makes it possible to reach Le Bettex by avoiding a good part of the pedestrian paths. From the Bettex continue towards Prapacot, by a track in descending crossing, go down by plan Genêts, les Intanges, Pierre Blanche, le Chaffard, les Choseaux.

Some portions of paved roads for this last part and uncertainties to correct in this topo in order to find the best route.
