Created in 2015, a short but intense black run that's usually nice and bumpy.

Analysing terrain data

This piste, created in 2015, is a good addition to this sector of Monêtier.

As this piste branches off the path section of the Eychauda blue run, it can be tempting to pick up lots of speed and then launch into the steeps.

This is all well and good if the snow is soft but is less enjoyable if the landing consists of hard moguls, which it sometimes does.

Bear in mind that if you do decide to ski this piste, you can't get to the rest of Monêtier without taking the Cucumelle chairlift again, so if you're skiing as a group, make sure you're all on the same page or there will be some hanging around to do for those that opt out: Hanging around in what is usually the coldest part of the mountain.
