Description

##Approach # approx.

1h45 First climb the footpath towards the Tourche hut.

Then follow the road on the hillside to Rionda (old military barracks that no longer exist).

From there, take the path that leads to the Grande Dent de Morcles.

Around 2550 meters we arrive on the Grande vire (crossroads Vire/Grande Dent written in red), it is exactly there, above the inscription of the crossroads, on a small grassy terrace, that La Surboum begins.

Coming from Collonges, if the road is open to the top, the approach walk is even shorter. ##Escalade L# | 6a | | | Diagonally to the left. L# | 5c | | | Always diagonally to the left, test the plugs. L# | 3a | | | Transition. L# | 6b | | | The crux (not running) in slab.

Short length. L# | 6a | | | Short length. L# | 2a | | | Transition. L# | 6a | | | Very beautiful in a crack/dihedral. L# | 6a+ | | | | L# | 4a | | | Transition (R9 on a spit marked with a large red dot). L# | 2b | | | Continuation of the transition. L# | 6a | | | Very nice. L# | 6b | | | With a step to cross on the right. L# | 6c | | | Only at the end of the length (wide crack).

The rest is a small 6a. L# | 6b | | | Pretty but with questionable catches. L# | 6a | | | Short but very good. ##Descending # 2h30 Follow the path with red dots or white/red markings until you reach the Grande Dent de Morcles route.

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
