##Approach From the top station of the Grands Montets cable car, go down the stairs to the homonymous pass to get equipped and then head towards the Rognons glacier (access road to the Argentière refuge).

Crossing the rimaye sometimes very open.

Do not go too far down and gain on the left the foot of the Petit Belvedere ridge which is rounded to the right.

The ascent takes place on the N side of the ridge. [img=552298 right]Topo[/img] ##Itinerary Several routes are possible depending on whether you follow the edge line or bypass the successive jumps by the snow slope to its right. A mixed ascent allows to climb the first jump in 4 short lengths: chimneys and blocks (relays on spoilers and jammers) From there, we walk along small bell towers by the snow slope before attacking a second steeper jump: optional crack in 5a (to be confirmed...) and pretty steep chimney (3c) followed by a second less difficult one and a brief, somewhat aerial jump. The ridge becomes more airy before leading to a comfortable antecime (above a Catex).
