[img=832614 right]The route from Pont Serrand[/img] ##Ascent In winter: From Pont Serrand 1628 m cross the hamlet and follow as best as you can and at sight a path leading to the Servaz flat, a fairly steep slope at the beginning.

Continue by the snow-covered road in winter until you reach the hairpin at 1810 m In summer: The departure by foot can be made at the hairpin of the road of the Petit St Bernard pass, at 1810 m Then follow the alpine pasture trail (n°10) on its side at the beginning and down to the end towards a wide valley.

Follow this long valley to the Barmettes to find the bridge to cross the torrent at 1946 m.

In summer or winter when snow conditions are safe, continue on road n°10 shortly before Pontaille, crossing the stream on a beautiful stone bridge at 1836 m. By either of the routes join the Plan Veyle mountain pasture at 2083 m and continue towards the summit following the summer path.

Skiing on the S side is wide and allows you to choose your itinerary, under the summit pull the right bank of the face to avoid small rocky bars more to the E. Reach easily the antecime and after a small descending passage, the main summit more to the E. ##Descending Return on foot by the same route. By ski on the S-side or SW-side towards the place called Grand Berrier at about 2400 m.

Several corridors and small valleys allow you to choose your itinerary.

Be careful a few small rocky bars to avoid.

Arriving around 2400 m, return straight back to the S direction to find the ascent route to the Plan Veyle mountain pasture.
