Description

Runaway is a short, expert bump run accessed off of Derailer through a gate that is not open all the time.

This run is the run-out for four double-black-diamond chutes that are also not open all the time.

It starts out STEEP and narrow, then empties out into a wide meadow before connecting with the halfway point of Trestle, which spills out onto Corona Way, a groomer that brings you back to the base of Mary Jane.

Because of sun exposure and lower altitude than other trails at the resort, this run could be hard as concrete in the morning and get slushier later in day during the spring.
