Description

img=204125 right]Flush, S slopes[/img] ##Ascent ###From the plateau of Sommand (ski resort) - 1430 m Take the black cross-country ski slope that climbs to the Col de La Ramaz hillside S.

At the pass, take the fork on the left towards Les Chalets Blancs at the foot of Pointe de Chalune.

From there, climb up a wide corridor E to a first jump (1800 m) that leads to the Col de la Vésinaz (1802).

Shoot left under a rocky point and follow it to the collar that separates it from the Point de Chavasse.

Follow the ridge to the top. ####Since the Goat House - 1118 m Cross the village and follow the road that crosses the Brevon and reach the chalet of Lajoux.

From there, either continue to follow the road that rises (E) into the forest and returns to the W (1399 m), or reach this point directly along a path. The road is followed by a path that leaves the forest at the Pététoz mountain pasture.

Climb above and to the right, and enter the W flank of the ridge that dominates it.

Cross the slopes called Pâturages de Pététoz and climb up a narrow valley under the tip of Chalune, to reach the Col de Vésinaz (1802 m).

Pass on the S side, turn right and rise obliquely to a small pass to the E of Pointe de Chavasse.

From there to the top by the N flank of the SE ridge. ##Descending From the top, retrace your steps to the rift, descend the valley N until the slope weakens (1718 m). It should be noted that it is sometimes possible to descend from around the summit via corridor NE, S4, about 40° over 150 m. Then: - if you come from Sommand, easily reach the Vésinaz pass (1800 m) to the SE and take the climbing route back to the station. - to return to La Chèvrerie, you can then either cross to the right to join the ascent route, or continue to descend the valley which curves to the left.

After a steeper passage, we find the forest again.

Cross it at best, about straight, over 100 m of difference in altitude, to end up on the path to the Chavan pass.

Follow this path to a road along the Bellecombe creek.

Follow this road operated by a cross-country track.

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
