Description

##Ascent From Termignon, take the chairlifts (la Girarde + Roches Blanches) climbing in 2 parts to the Replat des Canons (2098 m). Then follow the edge of the tracks (MONTFROID 3h sign) which, on the right and 2 bends, leaves the forest and joins point 2318.

From there, 2 solutions: - either continue the track and reach the top of the valley at Lac de Sollières to take the Belles Places track entering the Erellaz valley (2470 m).

When entering this valley, the track becomes dangerous; it is then necessary to go down in a sling in the valley to reach it upstream from the chalets of Erellaz. - The other solution consists of point 2318, to leave on the right of the track to join a chalet below.

From there, a long crossing on the side and then a slight descent leads to the chalet de l'Erellaz. Go up the whole valley towards the Col de Sollières, preferably on the left slopes, keeping away from the steep and avalanche-prone slopes of Petit Mont Cenis.

From the pass, turn right towards a pass between Montfroid and dome 2719 (barracks). Then follow the summer stracé which goes up the S slopes of point E of Montfroid.

These slopes gradually get progressively steeper and become steep, icy and exposed (crampons are not useless depending on the condition of the slope) in the end (last 30 metres). Clear the road to the first summit (2796 m).

Then follow the uneven edge often by the wire (wide and sometimes narrow and airy) or by the N side (do not use the slopes on the S side of the avalanche terrain).

Overcome 2 jumps, descend twice on collus and finally reach the summit (2822 m). ##Descending ditto

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
