Join the chalets of the Plan de la Cry, then follow the summer path in the forest towards Chailloux.

Around 1915 m, leave the forest to see the chalets of Chailloux (1930 m), then pass through the valley above the chalets.

The aiguillette des Houches is visible at the bottom of this valley.
