[img=247807 right/] ## Ascent # 4h From the Couvercle refuge, take a foothold on the Talèfre Glacier (see the options on the refuge page), go to the S of the Garden and around 2850 m, turn due N to go up the slopes from the Col des Droites at the beginning by going around the bar in the middle of the face from the left. Around 3350 m, cross in ascent to the right of the corridors and snow cones to go up the corridor to reach the Col de la Tour des Courtes (3720 m, 3h15). From the pass, easily follow the WNW ridge, snow and air, to the summit (45min). ## Descent #### On foot By the same route. #### On skis From the top, descend to the Col de la Tour des Courtes, sometimes on a ski slope (passage at 45° expo), sometimes on ice. Go down by crossing under the Tour des Courtes to reach the S side of the Col des Droites (40° max).

Go down on the Talèfre Glacier. Go around the Séracs de Talèfre on the right bank near the rocks or on the left bank more traditionally.
