Description
##Ascent In winter, from the Fornet car park follow the road (ski slope) towards the Iseran pass until the first hairpin where you reach the summer car park of the Pont St Charles. From the parking lot of the Saint-Charles bridge, in summer, take the path to the Prariond refuge (right bank of the Isère).
Leave it for a small path on the left at the point on side 2190 m.
This trail climbs steeply up the Pente des Cavales (450 m, S3) to reach a flat area around 2650 m by a marked path. Enter the valley of the Tenn de Rhêmes, go up to the lake (2895 m) leaving on the left the access slope to the Rhème-Calabre pass and the Pointe de Bazel.
Climb up following a set of cairns on the right bank of the valley to the Col des Fons (3076 m) (by ski, possible passage also on the right along the SW ridge of the Roc de Bassagne), take the Calabrian glacier. Drive along the Calabrian glacier towards the pass between the 2 peaks of the same altitude (depending on the snow cover, it is possible and perhaps faster to climb directly up the slope under the summit N, 120 m at 35/40°). From the summit pass, reach very easily the summit on the right, with a superb view of Italy or the summit on the left, with a superb view of Italy and the springs of the Isère. ##Descending By the same route.

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
