Description

From **Villar-d'Arêne**, go down to the small bridge that crosses the Romanche, then follow the GR50 diagonally up towards the W (right). At the end of the forest around 1750 m, go up full S, and on steep and regular slopes (including the well named "Côte Longue"!"), reach the front of the Tabuchet Glacier.

For safety, stay on the right bank of the river during its ascent.

Adjust its trajectory as best as possible according to the position of the crevasses and seracs.
