Description

## Climbing Ascent to the Presena Pass with the Tonale lifts (from the Pass or from Ponte di Legno) Descent to the Rifugio Mandrone, put on the skins and climb towards the glacier on the right side (usually obvious traces for the countless passages of the races and those who make the tour - in a day - of Pisgana).

On the glacier, take the opposite side to the left, pass the valley that climbs to the Rifugio Caduti dell'Adamello, climb the steep slope to the east that leads left to the Cross of John Paul II, right to the Cannon.

At the peak of the Cannon (there really is, it is pointing towards Trentino) you can get to the ski feet. ## Descent - for the ascent route - Descend from the eastern slope and, to reach the Rifugio Caduti dell'Adamello, cut northwards, to the right, just below the rocky spur of the long Cresta della Croce.

Put your skins back on for the last 100 metres uphill to Rifugio Caduti dell'Adamello. *A turn that can also be followed in the opposite direction: climb to Lobbia, passing the Rifugio Caduti dell'Adamello (Adamello's Fallen Shelter), climb up to the tops.

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
