Description

## Upward From[waypoints/104057|refuge du Prariond], go up the bottom of the valley full E, then cross the stream (delicate crossing if there is a lot of flow during snow removal). When the valley splits in two, take the right branch to reach the foot of the glacier by a slightly steeper valley (2441 m). *Note: in summer a wave on the edge of the moraine makes it easy to reach the glacier. Then go up the glacier of the Sources de l'Isère direction N (tighten on the right of the glacier to avoid cracks) to the pass between the Petite and Grande Aiguille Rousse.

Depending on the snow conditions, the rimaye under the pass can be more or less difficult to negotiate. Reach the top by following the often snow-cleared W ridge. ## Descent By the ascent route. ##### Note (variant): - From the pass it is possible to go up to the Petite Aiguille Rousse (5min) which adds a summit. ##### Remark (ski): - The N side is more interesting to ski than the slopes under the pass.

_This Adventure has been shared under the [Creative Commons Share Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/) licence._
