Description

This steep, open glade can be difficult to find.

Follow Lizard's Back Ridge past Receiver Chute and look for an opening in the trees.

Wiggle through these rapidly growing trees until you reach an opening with a few large trees scattered across the top.

Below these trees the slope steepens.

Boneyard is the last truly open face before you reach the Nose at the base of Lizard's Back Ridge.

Watch out for the rocks that can be found all along Silver Basin at this elevation.

Milk the well-spaced trees below this open face for fresh tracks.

When the trees thicken up, follow the gradient through the mature timber, avoiding tree wells and flat spots.

Eventually reach a groomed outrun that will lead back to the ski area.
