Palmyra proper, descent from the summit of the peak

Analysing terrain data

Senior's is a double black diamond extreme run that can be accessed by hiking up to the summit of Palmyra Peak, a hike that will take you about an hour to an hour and a half once past Black Iron Bowl.

The hiking can get pretty technical towards the top, as the boot packed trail gets steep, and in one section you have to do some scrambling over a large rock.

Senior's offers very steep and technical skiing at the top.

At times, the top section is icy and bumped up, other times the snow is soft and decent.

The top section can be considered somewhat of a "no fall zone".

Once past the first section, the middle and end of this run typically offer better snow, and from here you have the option to traverse skier's left to Tram Shot, another double black diamond extreme run or to traverse skier's right to Roy Boy, also a double black diamond extreme run.

Senior's will dump you out into Palmyra Basin, where you can find great snow and lots of fun lines to ski.

Senior's is a great run for folks looking for the whole Palmyra experience, summiting the Peak, and skiing the gnarliest line the peak has to offer.
