Description

Feather Trees are so named because they're small, like feathers.

It's not gladed skiing, but likewise it's not big open pistes either.

In addition, when you have trees they tend to help prevent the snow from slipping or being blown elsewhere in the wind.

Lower Feather Trees are therefore a good option if you don't mind losing vertical in a fairly long traverse but you're hoping to get a few good turns in before you hit Jersey Cream.

This line is accessible from Quasar in the Couloir Extreme Bowl; traverse far right and high through the rocky outcrops.

It's easy to lose vertical so make sure you cut as soon as possible and stay high.

Once you have gone past the rocks, you can pick your line through the small trees and head back towards the groomers.
