Description

Out of the four options for gladed skiing off Expressway, Raptor's Ride is the first choice you will come across.

It is also the longest trail which weaves through selectively thinned trees (meaning that they are not as tight as they naturally would be compared to other untouched options around the mountain).

As a result, this is a worthwhile option to consider if you are just starting to get comfortable in the trees or are looking to challenge yourself and step up to some glades.

On this run, the trees are more spaced out so you can get a better feel of sub-alpine tree skiing in the Coast Mountains, which can be much different than other tree skiing you are used to.

Be careful of tree wells and make sure to ski or ride this zone in pairs.
